Today the whole school went on a bus to the movies at Sylvia park. We went to watch all the manaiakalani films including our one called the chase. I was so afraid to watch the movie on the big screen

cross country
Last thursday Pt England school had their cross country run. The kids
were waiting and waiting for the races to begin. The sun wrapped it’s warm arms around me and it felt like I was melting like an ice cube. I saw the children wearing silly wigs and amusing costumes.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw my house captains run up to the front of the crowd cheering for their teams and all the children were cheering with them.
Finally it was the year 4 girls turn. When I heard the clapper I bolted across the starting line.
My legs were sore but I was still going until I got to the to the finish line.
